'Piccolo' Lemonade (Grafted Dwarf)

An evergreen, compact tree with glossy green leaves, thorns, and fragrant creamy-white blossoms. It produces golden fruit with juicy flesh. Lemon trees are known for their vibrant and aromatic fruits, adding a refreshing and tangy flavour to various culinary dishes and beverages. Unlike sour regular lemons, lemonade fruit is juicy, sweet, and tangy with very low acidity, allowing it to be peeled and eaten fresh straight from the tree. The trees thrive in sunny and warm climates, and their fruits are rich in vitamin C, making them a popular choice for culinary and decorative purposes.
Grow in a sunny position with well drained soil and protection from strong winds. Water regularly during the warmer months especially while fruit is forming. Prune in late spring removing inside growth and to shape the tree. Fertilise in spring and late summer/ early autumn high nitrogen fertiliser.
