A popular grafted mandarin tree with large, orange fruit which peels easily. The fruit has juicy, sweetly flavoured, segmented flesh. An upright, vigorous tree with glossy green foliage and white, fragrant flowers. Mandarin trees are known for their vibrant fruits, refreshing sweet and tangy flavour eaten straight off the tree or as beverage. The trees thrive in sunny and warm climates, and their fruits are rich in vitamin C. Grow in a sunny position in well drained soil with protection from strong winds. Water regularly during the warmer months especially while fruit is forming. Prune in spring if required. Fertilise in spring and summer with a high nitrogen fertiliser.
